Gift Certificates

Tim’s Pastry Club gift certificates make wonderful gifts for any occasion.

Each card has blank lines for you to enter the name of the recipient and your own name as the giver. The card will be sent to the purchaser with an unsealed envelope so you enter the details and give to your loved ones as a gift. Alternatively we can send directly to the receiver and enter the details for you.

Each gift certificate is £40 and can be used to book a class by emailing Tim directly to arrange which class they would like to attend.

American Cookies

American cookies are truly a classic baked dish, each student will make a batch of cookies and can add a variety of ingredients from the classic dark chocolate to dried fruits and a variety of chocolates and nuts. Copies of my book biscuits & Cookies from where the recipes come from will also be available for sale in the class.

Chocolate & Orange Tart

Chocolate tarts are a classic Parisienne speciality, the version made in this class has orange in the form of a disc of grand Marnier soaked sponge and an orange scented chocolate ganache. Each student will also make a batch of sweet pastry to take home.

Gateau Opera

The classic chocolate & coffee layered cake. Each student will make a batch of sponge sheets, coffee syrup, and coffee cream with chocolate ganache to top. This beautiful cake is cut into slices and decorated and served in pastry shops all over the world.

The quintessential French confection made from almond, sugar and egg white. In this class each student will make a batch of coloured and flavoured macarons sandwiched with vanilla buttercream and gift wrapped in cellophane bags and ribbons.

Apple Tarte Tatin

Originally invented by two sisters in France tarte Tatin is a beautiful and truly indulgent dish. Each student will also make a batch of quick puff paste to take home. Each student will make a 20cm caramelised apple tart to take home.

Mille Feuille & Puff Pastry

The French pastry mille Feuille literally means a thousand layers. The pastry is a gateau made from lightly caramelised puff pastry layered with pastry cream enriched with butter and whipped cream. Each student will make an 8 portion mille Feuille and a batch of puff pastry to take home.
