Important Announcement Regarding Pastry Classes

March 2020

As I am sure you all are aware that due to the government guidelines social gatherings are being postponed and we are no exception to this. All the classes for March until May 2020 that were listed on the site have been postponed until hopefully later this year.

We have not yet been given a date when we can restart classes but everyone who has purchased a place will be given a replacement class when the dates are posted here on the site. The venue Oasis academy have assured me that our classes will restart but no confirmation date has been given yet although we are hoping this will be September 2020.

As soon as I have more information I will post an update and keep everyone fully informed. The classes will return as soon as it is safe to do, this is not the end of Tim’s Pastry Club just a measure to ensure everyone’s safety.

If you want to support Tim’s Pastry Club please purchase vouchers to future classes or buy copies of my two books following the links on the website.

Please everyone stay safe and I look forward to seeing you all very soon.

Tim xx

News February 2020

The new term of classes for Tim’s Pastry Club began on February the 8th with places available up to the 23rd of May.

I am about half way through the recipe testing for book number 3 and very pleased with the results (see this month’s free recipe for a taster of what is to come). I am going to take a two week break from recipe testing as I practise for my two entries to the British Open Cookery Championship in the first week of March.

This month’s recipe is a little know American dish in this country namely a coffee cake but do not confuse this with a coffee flavoured cake rather this is a sour cream tray-bake with a cinnamon crumble topping so called because it is eaten with coffee. Lovely dish and one to add to your repertoire.

I am very pleased to say that each month I will contributing a baking article in the local paper the Caterham Independent re-launched under the capable eye of Louise de Costa the new owner. She has revamped the paper and I look forward to working alongside her.

The classes are all available to book online if you would like any info about the classes check the FAQ section or feel free to contact me via the get in touch button.

I look forward to seeing you at a class soon
Happy baking
