Gift Certificates
Tim’s Pastry Club gift certificates make wonderful gifts for any occasion.

Each card has blank lines for you to enter the name of the recipient and your own name as the giver. The card will be sent to the purchaser with an unsealed envelope so you enter the details and give to your loved ones as a gift. Alternatively we can send directly to the receiver and enter the details for you.

Each gift certificate is £40 and can be used to book a class by emailing Tim directly to arrange which class they would like to attend.

Just 6 weeks to go now until the Caterham Bake Off at the Caterham festival on Sunday June 9th an entry form can be downloaded via the Caterham WI website caterhamwi.com/bakeoff ,all the entries will be sold to raise money for the chosen charity which is the Caterham food bank this year. Please do enter every entry could raise as much as £20 per class so please try and bake an entry or if you don’t feel able to bake please come to the event and buy some cakes. I will also be selling copies of my first book Biscuits & Cookies and pastry club aprons @£15 each with £5 of each item going to the charity. I am also sponsoring the bake off so if you win a category you will win a copy of my 1st book or a pastry club apron and the overall winner will receive a place on our £80 patisserie course on June 29th or two pastry classes if they are unable to attend.

Mentioning books I am very pleased to announce that the 1st draft of my book Tarts & Pies has been completed and is now being edited and proofread and should be available for sale by June. The latest blog recipe is a sample from my new book and is a gorgeous caramel tart so please do try this out. There are 32 recipes in the new book including many favourite dishes with many new creations.

Pastry classes continue to be well attended and continue to July the 20th some of the classes just posted still have places available so do book up if you want to learn some new skills.

News April 2019

My second book tarts & pies is well on the way to completion, I am taking the last batch of photographs this week and am hoping to have it ready to purchase by June/July.

Classes are once again pretty full so thank you to all the regulars and welcome to those of you just finding us for the first time this year.

The Caterham Bake Off will once again be happening at the food festival on Sunday June 9th so please do enter. Every item get sold for charity so your baking will help raise lots of money for the Caterham food bank, entry forms and details can be found on the WI Caterham facebook page or by going to their website www.caterhamwi.com

We have a special pastry club class on June 29th from 10am to 3pm, this class will do some advanced level patisserie where the participants will be working as a group and sharing the products to take home. This class will be £80 and you will need to bring your lunch but drinks are provided. Detail and booking facility coming very soon!

    A lovely way to learn to bake yummy cakes, bread etc.... Able to take away recipes and cook them again. Plenty of great tips. As well as lots of tea, coffee and fun. Always being shown how to do things the correct way that always works.
