Gift Certificates
Tim’s Pastry Club gift certificates make wonderful gifts for any occasion.

Each card has blank lines for you to enter the name of the recipient and your own name as the giver. The card will be sent to the purchaser with an unsealed envelope so you enter the details and give to your loved ones as a gift. Alternatively we can send directly to the receiver and enter the details for you.

Each gift certificate is £40 and can be used to book a class by emailing Tim directly to arrange which class they would like to attend.

News June 2019

We are half way through the year and there is lot’s happening at pastry Club!

Firstly I am delighted to announce that my second book Tarts & Pies is very close to being available on amazon retailing for £15. This book like my first Biscuits & Cookies has 32 recipes all tried and tested with many elite versions of classics along with some of my original creations. The recipe of the month for June is a recipe from my book and is a lovely pine nut and honey tart which is similar to a pecan pie but with honey instead of golden syrup and pine nuts instead of pecans, so do try this before the book comes out.

We are now about to undertake the Bake Off at the Caterham festival on Sunday June 9th so if you haven’t made plans to come along please do come down to support us. All entries will be sold to raise money for the Caterham food bank so whether you are entering or buying bakes you will be helping a great cause and raising a lot of money for charity.

I will be judging and sponsoring the event and offering some aprons or books for category winners as well as chocolate lollipops for the under 12 entries. The top prize is a place on our patisserie course worth £80 for the overall winner (or 2 pastry classes in the autumn term if the date does not suit)

We still have places available for classes from June 15th to July 20th before we take our summer break. I have already booked places for pastry club at Oasis Academy for the rest of the year with content yet to be confirmed but below are the dates for your diary.

September 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th
October 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th
November 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd
December 7th, 14th, 21st

We are also holding a stall at the Oasis Christmas fair on Saturday November 30th where we will be selling baked items, chocolate lollipops, pastry club aprons and copies of my books.

    A lovely way to learn to bake yummy cakes, bread etc…. Able to take away recipes and cook them again. Plenty of great tips. As well as lots of tea, coffee and fun. Always being shown how to do things the correct way that always works.
